I need to document the projects that are waiting to be quilted. I tend to forget these great things I have sewn. I get all excited about the project, put in uncounted hours producing the item, and then when it comes to quilting all progress stops. I am still in the midst of hand quilting a full sized quilt, so all the other projects are just waiting. This is the reason I bought a sewing machine that will allow me to machine quilt these projects. They deserve to be finished. These are listed in no particular order.
#1. Strawberry Marmelade quilt top. Pattern by Sweetwater Cotton Shoppe, published on Moda Bake Shop website. Fabric is "Together" by Brannock and Patek. I finished piecing the top in December, 2011. The size is approx. 73" wide by 86" long.
#2. Molly's Magic Pansies. Approx. 51.5" wide by 75" long. Pattern from Say it with Quilts (1997) by Diana McClun and Laura Nownes. I don't know when I completed this top. I do know that it was after 2000.
#3. Bear Hollow Quilt. Pattern published in Quilter's Newsletter Magazine as a six part series beginning Oct. 1994. Designed by Ann Sealy. My finished size is 90" wide by 89" long. (designer states it should be 88-3/8x88-3/8") Clearly I had a few problems with the size. My skills improved as I worked on this one. I do not have a date when I finished the top.
