Finally, some sewing progress

I am really ready to retire. Work just interferes with my sewing time.

I completed the April and May BOM assignments for the Halo Medallion BOM from The Quilt Show. Honestly, those flying geese arcs took for...ev...er! The pattern instructions are very good. I am hoping that this is the most challenging part of this quilt because it pushed me to my limit.

I woosed out and chose to use the kit so I couldn't mess up on fabric selection. I have absolutely no confidence in my ability to put together a beautiful palette like this.

I also finished this month's Red and Cream BOM from Fig Tree Quilts. I love reds and this is a fun project to work on.

That makes eight blocks completed for this project.

This month Fig Tree Quilts is having a contest for quilt blocks in sizes that work with their current BOM's. I designed a 10" finished size block. This is the first time I have ever tried to design my own block. I'm not showing the picture. If I win, I will be happy to share.

Thanks for stopping by.

Great job! I don't know if I would tackle those flying geese myself.

Wow, Karen!!! Those flying geese arcs are super neat. I can't believe you got the whole round of them done, too. Impressive progress. :D
