2015 Finish: 2012 Designer Mystery BOM

Well, this is embarrassing. Seriously. Started in 2012 and construction finished in 2013. I didn't finish quilting it until today. Thanks again to more snow days.
The fabric is Vintage Modern by Bonnie and Camile. Love, love, love. I used a pantograph called Deja Vu. You will notice that the design goes top to bottom rather than across. I loaded the quilt sideways to reduce the number of advances required. I don't have a motorized advance.

Here is a look at the back. I did a bit of a border on my label. Am I getting fancy or what?

2015 Finish: Park Bench

I finished Park Bench on Monday, Feb. 16 thanks to a snow day.
Here is the obligatory look at the back.
This is the best job I have ever done on a binding. I take great pride in small accomplishments.

Progress on Park Bench

Tension issues are solved. I have gotten some more work done on Park Bench.

As I said in my last post, I am ripping off Angela Walter's quilting. I am contrasting straight lines with curves. I won't be able to work on this again until the weekend.

I am linking up with Freshly Pieced, found here.

Rabbit, Rabbit!

It's the first day of another month. Rabbit, Rabbit!

I have the Park Bench quilt top on my machine. I plan to totally rip off from Angela Walters on this one. I have seen a few pictures that show her quilting on the original so I will use her ideas. She used feathers in the negative space and then created a different design in each of the large hexagon blocks.

Right now I am having a tension issue that I need to resolve so I am at a bit of a stopping point. We are hosting a big game party tonight (Oh, is someone playing football? For me, it is all about food and fun.) I don't know if I will be able to get back to it today.
