I accomplished my goal of making 10 scrap houses. In fact, I made 20 scrap houses. I only counted four of the 8 that I reported as half done last Monday.
I needed a break from houses, so on Sunday I began working on Merry, Merry Snowmen block #3. I had a great time in my sewing room this week. Thanks for stopping by.

Your houses are coming along nicely - I got a few more done myself - not sure what count I have. Yes, changing projects is good for the MoJo.
The houses look great! and love the snowman block too! =D
Saw your blog over at Marcia's New Quilt Blog Linky Party and I'm your newest follower! I'm also making Blogger's BOM and Free Motion Quilt Challenge. Love the projects you're working on. So nice you can incorporate your mom's fabric into your quilts. Nice to meet you! Feel free to follow my blog!
New follower too. Every one has to make a house block at least once in their life! Have a pattern for a school house block that I would love to find again, and also make. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Karen,
Not only do I like your houses, I just LOVE the Tree quilt in the header and background. I just became a follower and look forward to receiving your posts and seeing what all you New Found Fellow Quilters are up to. There is so much talent out there!
Love your house blocks! saw on the post before that you are using some of your mother's scraps! Cool!
