Wallflower Quilt

Little Missy came from Michigan to Kentucky to visit with Grandma and Grandpa.  I chose a project that we could do together. I chose the Wallflower quilt from Missouri Star Quilt Company found here. So cute.

Little Missy traced the flower petals. We both put product on the back of the pieces (Crafted Applique technique).

She is going into first grade, as she will be happy to tell anyone who asks.

She loved arranging the blocks on the design wall. We couldn't get it finished while she was here. I finished the blocks and got the flimsy pieced.

I am now ready to get this loaded onto Lucey.  Such fun.

Now, here is the next thing. She wants a matching quilt for her American Girl doll. Oy. I don't want to make teeny tiny blocks. Any ideas? Anyone? Anyone?

Thanks for stopping by.

Love it!! She did a beautiful job helping. Maybe just a scrappy patch doll quilt from the left overs with some flower buttons - I wouldn't want to do tiny petals either.

Four of those blocks would probably make a lovely quilt for Dolly...just sayin'

What fun, working with Little Missy! She will always remember spending time with you. Good job Grandma!
