Sewing Room Wallhanging

I finished the Cut, Sew, Press, Repeat wallhanging.

I made some changes from the inspiration piece (here). I took out the paper pieced blocks and replaced them with pinwheels made from bonus triangles. I added a third spool. I thought it would be cute to have one tipped over.

Other than the letter blocks and the paper pieced scissor blocks, everything else was by guess and by golly. I had to do the dreaded 'm' word...math. I revisited my Craftsy class from Camille Roskelley, Playful Piecing Techniques, and made the spools half size.

Ta dah! I actually got it finished.

I have my Canned Pears flimsy on the Lucey. I have a 108" wide backing. I didn't center the quilt on the backing. I moved it to one side so that I can quilt some smaller projects as I go.

I have added the extra blocks that I have put together for a pillow sham. This sewing room wall hanging will be added also.

Yes, I am lazy. I hate to load up several separate projects when one backing can take care of several projects at once.

Thanks for stopping by.

Love this wall hanging. I can not find link in Moda Bake for cotton reel pattern. Happy Stitching.
