Girly Tooth Fairy Pillow

Late last year, made a tooth fairy pillow for my grandsons. I posted about it here. I bought the kit from Fat Quarter Shop, here. It went home with them when they went home after their Christmas visit. Little Missy in Michigan turned 5 on January 22. She is quickly approaching the age when she will start to lose teeth too. It was time to make a pillow for her. A much more girly look was in order.

I searched for fabric that would be more girly, but still go with the sailboat pattern I had used for the boys. FQS came to the rescue again. I found this darling bundle from Timeless Treasures, here.

Here is how it turned out.
I fussy cut in order to make sure that a pink whale would be right-side-up on the larger sail/pocket.

I used a couple fabrics and the leftover rickrack from the boys' pillow. Here is the back:
I am pretty pleased with the way this turned out. We will take it to her when we go to Michigan for spring break. This is a small finish for 2015.

Thanks for stopping by.
